World Ballet Company: The Sleeping Beauty With Live Orchestra

World Ballet Company: The Sleeping Beauty With Live Orchestra at Knoxville Civic Auditorium

Princess Aurora falls under a curse. The kingdom sleeps for a hundred years. One kiss awakens the sleeping beauty and restores the world. World Ballet Company brings Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty to Knoxville Civic Auditorium on Sunday, April 11, 2027, at 6:00 PM. If you love stories where love overcomes darkness, here's your chance to watch ballet give that story form and feeling.

Forty professional dancers move through a story you may already know. Over 150 radiant costumes and hand-crafted sets give the production its visual appeal. From Princess Aurora's christening to the Rose Adagio to the grand wedding celebration, each scene offers a new reason to watch. A live orchestra supports the choreography, so Tchaikovsky's music surrounds the dancers and fills the auditorium. For anyone who appreciates the artistry of ballet, the appeal is following a familiar tale told with movement, music and stagecraft.

Share the evening with someone you'd like to introduce to ballet or a young family member drawn to fairy tales. A Sunday performance gives you a reason to gather without waiting for a special celebration. The production is designed for the whole family, so you can invite children if they're ready to sit through a full-length performance. Choose the outing with your own family's readiness in mind.

Let the story make the decision. Check ticket options for The Sleeping Beauty in Knoxville and plan a ballet evening with the people you'd like beside you.
