Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! at Tennessee Theatre

A daughter wants to know her father. A mother guards the past. Three men return to an island they left decades ago. Mamma Mia! comes to Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville on Saturday, February 20, 2027, at 2:00 PM. The musical wraps a wedding-eve story around the catalog of ABBA, turning questions of identity and love into a reason to spend an afternoon at the theater.

The show unfolds on a Greek island where the sun always shines and the music keeps the story moving. ABBA's hits give the musical its emotional center, and for over 25 years audiences around the world have responded to the combination of familiar songs and a story about mothers, daughters, and the choices that shape a family. If you've been drawn to the music or the premise, this is your chance to see how the production brings both together.

February doesn't offer many reasons to celebrate sunlight, but a Saturday matinee gives you an escape from the cold. Bring someone who loves the music or someone who's never seen the show. The appeal isn't complicated: a story that resolves happily, songs that audiences already know, and a theatrical escape from the season outside.

Give yourself a February theater date that doesn't ask for heavy thinking. Find ticket options for Mamma Mia! in Knoxville and plan an afternoon built around ABBA, a wedding, and a story that's been making audiences happy for decades.
