Death Becomes Her

Death Becomes Her at Tennessee Theatre

Vanity, rivalry and a potion that promises eternal youth collide in a musical comedy that dares you not to laugh. Death Becomes Her arrives at Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The Tony Award-winning show brings the classic 1992 film to the stage with direction and choreography by Tony winner Christopher Gattelli, transforming a Hollywood satire into a theatrical spectacle worth leaving the house for.

Madeline Ashton and Helen Sharp will do anything to stay fabulous, and a mysterious woman named Viola Van Horn has exactly what they need. The story is sharp, the comedy relentless, and the stakes absurdly high. If the film's wit appealed to you, the stage version adds music, choreography and live performance energy that screens can't deliver.

Invite someone whose idea of a great Saturday matinee involves glamour and laughter in equal measure. A friend who remembers the movie. A partner who appreciates sharp humor. Choose the show together and you've got an occasion worth dressing up for and a reason to make the afternoon memorable.

Let your love of clever comedy make the call. Explore ticket options for Death Becomes Her in Knoxville and secure your spot at a Broadway musical that knows exactly how ridiculous immortality can be.
