Jersey Boys

Jersey Boys at Tennessee Theatre

The harmonies were effortless. The backstage conflicts were not. Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons through the music that made them famous and the tensions that nearly tore them apart. The Tony Award-winning production comes to Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville on Thursday, July 22, 2027, at 7:30 PM. If you've ever wondered what it took to keep Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry and Oh What a Night on the radio while ambition and ego pulled in different directions, this is the story.

The show follows four guys from New Jersey whose sound nobody had heard before. Walk Like a Man, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Beggin', and Working My Way Back to You carry the production, but the appeal rests on the collision between onstage perfection and offstage friction. The musical doesn't smooth over the cost of success. It follows the journey from the streets of New Jersey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, showing what the group gained and what they risked along the way.

Invite someone who knows the catalog and remembers when those songs defined a summer. A theater date gives you a reason to turn a familiar sound into an evening together. Tennessee Theatre makes the occasion something you'll want to dress for and arrive early to enjoy.
