Indoor Cats

Indoor Cats at Clarence Brown Lab Theatre

What do you make when the world stops making sense? Filmmaker Jules escapes to her parents' cabin in Central Pennsylvania, recently dumped and creatively unraveling, just as everything around her seems to be shutting down. Clarence Brown Lab Theatre stages Mora V. Harris's Indoor Cats on Saturday, February 27, 2027, at 7:30 PM. Follow one woman's unexpected detour into the bizarre world of filmmaking for cats and see where creativity, desire and uncertainty lead her.

A flirtatious encounter with her naturalist neighbor pulls Jules into a project she never anticipated. The play gives you a fresh comedy about art, connection and the strange ways we find meaning when familiar structures collapse. Director Daniel Bird Tobin leads the production, bringing Harris's wry, original script to life. If you're drawn to humor that feels human and a little off-kilter, this is the kind of theater worth your Saturday night.

Invite someone who appreciates comedy that doesn't follow the usual script. A friend who enjoys offbeat stories. A partner who'd rather spend an evening surprised than watching something predictable. Choosing the night together gives you a reason to spend time with a story you haven't already seen a dozen times.

Let your curiosity about a wonderfully strange new comedy guide the decision. Explore ticket options for Indoor Cats at Clarence Brown Lab Theatre and plan a theater night that breaks the routine.
