Indoor Cats

Indoor Cats at Clarence Brown Lab Theatre

A filmmaker who can't finish her film. A cabin in Central Pennsylvania. A flirtatious neighbor making videos for cats. Indoor Cats arrives at Clarence Brown Lab Theatre on Sunday, March 7, 2027, at 2:00 PM. Mora V. Harris gives you a comedy built on creativity, desire and finding meaning when everything feels uncertain. If you miss theater that surprises you with where it goes, this afternoon gives you something unexpected.

Jules escapes to her parents' cabin recently dumped and creatively stuck, just as the world seems to shut down. A chance encounter pulls her into the bizarre world of filmmaking for cats. The premise sounds odd because it is odd, and Harris leans into that strangeness to explore connection and artistic purpose when familiar structures fall apart. Director Daniel Bird Tobin shapes the wry, original script for the Lab Theatre stage.

A Sunday matinee lets you build your plans around the performance. Invite a friend who appreciates theater that takes risks or a partner who enjoys a story that refuses to be predictable. You leave with something wonderfully strange to discuss over coffee or dinner afterward. The afternoon timing makes the outing easier to arrange than a weeknight commitment.

Make room for a comedy that feels like nothing else on your calendar. Explore ticket options for Indoor Cats and plan a Sunday afternoon at Clarence Brown Lab Theatre.
