Banana Ball World Tour at Covenant Health Park

A catch in the crowd can count as an out. Banana Ball World Tour brings a different set of baseball rules to Covenant Health Park in Knoxville on Friday, June 4, 2027. If the idea of a familiar sport played on unfamiliar terms makes you curious, this is a chance to find out how those rules change the contest.

Created by the Savannah Bananas, Banana Ball uses a point-per-inning system and rules that prohibit bunting. Its fan-catch rule gives a ball hit toward the stands another possible consequence. Those differences offer something specific to follow, whether you know conventional baseball well or simply want a sports outing with a different approach.

Invite someone who is curious about the format, and let learning the rules become part of the outing. A baseball fan can follow the differences while a newcomer discovers the contest on its own terms. Choosing the date together gives that curiosity a place on your calendar.
