Milk Man and The Big Band

Milk Man and The Big Band at Bijou Theatre - TN

Can a band of Knoxville college students transform Pink Floyd and Lynyrd Skynyrd with brass and convince you to leave your speakers at home? Milk Man & The Big Band brings 18 musicians to Bijou Theatre on Friday, January 15, 2027, at 8:00 PM. If the idea of hearing live horns, real strings and analog keyboards tackle familiar rock songs appeals to you, this is a chance to see a hometown ensemble do exactly that.

Dino "Milk Man" Nassios leads this ensemble with a crooner's command, backed by arrangements that lean on the brassy energy of Steely Dan and Chicago. The band first came together in 2021 and has built its reputation around Knoxville. Their live album, recorded locally, includes originals like Let Me Tell You and Hammurabi's Pad alongside reimagined takes on Have A Cigar, Free Bird and White Room. If you're drawn to big-band dynamics applied to classic rock, you'll find something to follow here.

This is a Friday night that rewards curiosity about local talent and the appeal of hearing music played live by an 18-piece group. Invite someone who appreciates a full band arrangement or a friend who's been meaning to explore more Knoxville shows. You don't need a special occasion. The performance gives you a reason to get out together.

Choose the night you support a Knoxville band with ambition. Find ticket options for Milk Man & The Big Band and plan an evening at the Bijou.
