Foy Vance at Bijou Theatre - TN

Foy Vance carries twenty-seven years of unshared songs into Bijou Theatre on Saturday, April 10, 2027, at 7:00 PM. The Northern Ireland-born singer-songwriter has spent decades writing toward answers that changed shape as life moved forward. This tour celebrates The Wake, his seventh album, and IF, a collection of material he kept private until now. If you're drawn to voices that sound like lived experience, this is your opportunity to hear that honesty in person.

Vance's father died suddenly in 1999, the same night Vance experienced an onstage moment of transcendence in Lanzarote. That loss set the course for everything he's written since. The Wake marks the completion of that journey. IF revisits songs he wrote along the way but never released, reimagined with producer Anderson East. The result is a body of work exploring devotion, grief, longing and forgiveness. Fans of his earlier albums Joy of Nothing and The Wild Swan will recognize the craft. New listeners will find a songwriter who doesn't rush past difficult subjects.

Bring someone who values music that doesn't simplify emotion. A friend who introduced you to artists like Raitt or John. A partner who appreciates a voice with weight. An evening at Bijou Theatre gives you both something specific to anticipate and a reason to make Saturday night about music.

Let the catalog convince you. Explore ticket options for Foy Vance in Knoxville and plan a folk-soul evening with someone you'd want beside you.
