Dave Barnes at Bijou Theatre - TN
Dave Barnes brings A Very Dave Barnes Christmas to Bijou Theatre in Knoxville on Friday, December 11, 2026, at 7:30 PM. If you've followed his songwriting or discovered his name through another artist's recording, this is a chance to see the performer behind the catalog. His holiday material offers an introduction to his approach: soul-influenced pop delivered with warmth and humor.
Barnes has written songs recorded by Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Dan + Shay and Carrie Underwood, earning chart success in country and Christian formats. His own albums trace a path from acoustic folk to groove-oriented pop. That range shows up in his holiday performances, where original Christmas songs sit alongside the songwriter sensibility that earned him collaborations with Ingrid Michaelson, Ben Rector and Lindsey Stirling. The appeal lies in watching a working songwriter shape a seasonal evening.
Choose this show with someone who enjoys Christmas music beyond the familiar rotation. A partner who appreciates a songwriter's perspective. A friend drawn to soul and pop with character. Selecting the night together gives you something specific to anticipate as December arrives.
Let your interest in the music guide the decision. Find ticket options for Dave Barnes in Knoxville and arrange a holiday evening at Bijou Theatre.
