Black Jacket Symphony: Michael Jackson's Thriller

Black Jacket Symphony: Michael Jackson's Thriller at Knoxville Civic Auditorium

Some albums demand to be heard start to finish. Black Jacket Symphony recreates Michael Jackson's Thriller live and complete at Knoxville Civic Auditorium on Friday, February 12, 2027, at 7:30 PM. Hand-picked musicians reproduce the album note for note, sound for sound, giving fans a chance to experience the record the way it was meant to be heard: all the way through, without interruption.

The concert delivers two sets. The first half recreates Thriller in sequence, honoring every sonic detail of the original recording. The second half shifts to a broader celebration of Michael Jackson's catalog, drawing from hits that defined pop music across decades. For listeners who know the album by heart, the appeal is hearing those tracks performed with precision. For fans drawn to the catalog as a whole, the second set offers recognizable favorites.

Invite someone who remembers where they were when they first heard the album. A friend who still owns the vinyl. A partner who appreciates a concert built around a single piece of work. Sharing the night gives you both a reason to revisit music that mattered and a chance to hear it performed live.
